The ForestWife is a beautiful adaptation of the story of Robin Hood. Its a realistic perspective into the life of the women of the story (such as Maid Marion) and although based towards younger audiences I could read this book over and over again.
My A-level English teacher recommended I read this book and I actually ended up writing my final essay on it. Its a wonderful story about a young girl living in Nazi Germany who late in life learns to read and then can't get enough of it! Its narrated by Death with an insightful view of what it was like to live in Nazi Germany at the time. I really recommend anyone to read this wonderful book.
I love Little Women! Its just a beautiful book.
I'm sure I don't need to put a description of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy on here, but I love these books. To create such an imaginative and full world is just incredible to me.
Again, Harry Potter needs no description... but I've grown up with these books and have always indulged myself in the wonderful world of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
A few more books I at least feel the need to mention:
- Pride and Prejudice
- The Hobbit
- The Abhorsen Trilogy
- The Time Travellers Wife
- Jane Eyre
- Pirates!
So yeah, I love books! I'd recommend reading any of these because they are great :)
